Felt in love when we saw a bag from Vie Ami the first time, today we discuss with its founder, Amita. Do not miss this interview to feel refreshed and bring trust back to your life!
When and why did you launch Vie Ami?
I launched Vie Ami because I’ve always had a passion for fashion and creativity, and I noticed that people genuinely enjoyed my designs. When I was in high school, I was struggling with backpacks, and leather purses were expensive or too boring for me, so I created myself a bag that was stylish but also practical.

My classmates started asking me to make one for them as well.
The idea was to create something for people who live simple everyday lives but still want a little spark — a small detail that makes them feel different while still being practical enough to carry everything essential.
What has been the major achievement of Vie Ami till now?
One of the biggest achievements so far has been starting the brand and seeing people genuinely interested in it. Building the concept, designing the first pieces, and beginning to create a visual identity for Vie Ami has been a very meaningful step for me. I still have so much room to grow,
and I cannot wait to see where I go.
What is your main next objective / challenge?
My main objective is to continue developing the brand and grow the community around it. I would also like to collaborate with creatives such as photographers and models to produce interesting shoots and build a stronger presence. Speaking about challenges, I think my main one is producing content while managing my studies and living abroad by myself. Finding a balance between my passion and my responsibilities has been my biggest challenge, and it’s something I work on overcoming every day.
How would you define your path as an entrepreneur?
I would describe it as a learning journey.
I’m still at the beginning, so every step teaches me something new about creativity, business, and perseverance.
It’s exciting but also challenging, and I try to stay open to growth and new ideas. I believe that if you do nothing, nothing will happen. But
if you try something, even if it doesn’t lead you exactly where you expected, it might open a path you never even dreamed of.
What advice would you give to someone willing to start a fashion brand?
My advice would be to start, even if everything is not perfect. Be patient,
stay authentic to your vision,
and don’t be afraid to experiment. Building a brand takes time, but consistency and passion make a big difference.
Where can we find you (website, Instagram, TikTok...)?
You can follow Vie Ami on Instagram and other social media platforms where I share updates on collection drops and my journey.
We know you were recently looking for street style models and photographers in Brussels. Is this still ongoing? How interested people should contact you?
Yes, I’m still very interested in connecting with photographers and models in Brussels who enjoy creating. I’m also open to working with people who may not have much experience in these fields but have always wanted to try or are looking to build their portfolio. I don’t work in a strict studio setting — most of the time it’s outdoors, walking around the city, grabbing a coffee, and creating something spontaneous together. I’m always open to new collaborations and creative ideas. Anyone interested can contact me through Instagram to discuss potential projects.
